The LORD’s Prayer

...your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him (Matthew 6:8).

The LORD’s prayer appears twice in the Scriptures (Matthew 6:5-15 and Luke 1:1-13). Each account is very close to the other. The one time, the Lord taught it during His Sermon on the Mount. The other time, He taught it because His disciples asked.

Many churches recite it verbatim during meetings. However, if we just recite it without understanding the implications of the prayer, we might lose a lot. Therefore, the next few days, Lord willing, will be all about the LORD’s prayer.
