The Love of God, Which Is in Christ Jesus Our Lord (Romans 8:39)

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)
The love of God is in Christ. How do we know God loves us? Because He gave us His Son. God is love, and He could not be love without the Son. Real love always has a recipient other than the lover.
If this love is in His Son, can any of the elements here, death, life, angels, and so on be greater than His love? It is impossible. “If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:39). Since He gave us His Son, He will not withhold anything good from us.
Being in Christ is to be an eternal recipient of God’s love. He will always provide what we truly need. He will not try to make us stumble. On the contrary, He will continually lead us to trust Him more and walk in victory over sin until He returns.
