Long Traveling and Home Again

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety. (Psalms 4:8)
The Lord brought us home safely from our vacation this evening. Over the past two and a half weeks, we went out west, which we had wanted to do for the past few years, but graduate school and the pandemic delayed that trip.
We went to:
- Rocky Mountain National Park, including Milner Pass, the Continental Divide, Bear Lake and some of the surrounding lakes, Colorado
- Medicine Bow National Forest, Wyoming
- Arches National Park, Utah
- Canyonlands National Park, Utah
- Moab Giants Museum, Utah
- Dead Horse Point State Park, Utah
- Mesa Verde National Park, including the Petroglyphs Trail, Colorado
- Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, Arizona
- Anasazi Heritage Center, Colorado
- Mancos State Park, Colorado (briefly, which was interrupted by a hailstorm)
- Great Sand Dunes National Park, Colorado
- Visited friends on the way home in Kansas and Missouri
It was a great trip, bringing us to places we have never seen before. Much of the mountains and rock formations demonstrate the power of God over His creation. We are grateful to have had the experience, and to return without incident.
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. (Psalms 90:2)
