All Spiritual Blessings in Heavenly Places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: (Ephesians 1:3)
A beautiful verse about what we have in Jesus Christ. First, we have all spiritual blessings. How many times do we ask God to bless us? We can stop doing that now; He blessed us, in the past tense, according to this verse. The prayer now changes to “Father, thank you for blessing us.”
What spiritual blessings? Just look at the following verses: chosen to be holy and blameless (Ephesians 1:4), predestinated to adoption of children (Ephesians 1:5), we are accepted by Him (Ephesians 1:6), redeemed and forgiven (Ephesians 1:7), and the list keeps going. No commentary on Ephesians will scratch the surface on these wonderful things found in Jesus Christ.
These spiritual blessings are in Christ in heaven. Remember that our life is located there: “your life is hid with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:3).
If you are in Christ, then you are fully blessed by God and lack nothing.
