Sit Together in Heavenly Places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6)

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: (Ephesians 2:5-6)
By grace and love, our Father took us, being dead in sin, and raised us with His Son. He sat us in the heavenly places. We often talk about when we go to heaven one day, but we should consider that to a degree we are seated there now with Christ our life. We have the resurrected, ascended life now, imparted to us by His Spirit. To be in Christ is to be where He is.
How is Christ seated? He is enthroned at the right hand of the Father. He reigns, and while we are not the King, His authority is where we are; in Christ we do what we are commanded to do.
