Who Do You Really Trust In?

So, what do you really believe? Who do you really trust in?

So many say they trust in Jesus. However, they harbor secrets in their heart. They believe by doing good, they earn heaven, and by sinning, they earn hell. There is a fear that if they do not perform, God will reject them. To them, church attendance, prayer, and being an overall good citizen gives them credence before God. In the end, they find themselves rejected. They were trusting in themselves.

But what if it is not about you? What if your eternal destiny is not contingent on you at all?

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. (Romans 8:34)
