To Reveal His Son in Me (Galatians 1:16)

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood (Galatians 1:15-16)
The apostle was called by grace and was saved. What was He saved for? Many answers come to mind, but the immediate answer here is to “reveal his Son in me.” Now that is one reason we are saved. It might not be the same for us as it was for the apostle Paul, who was a missionary throughout the world. Nonetheless, being saved, the Father reveals His Son in us. We come to an end, and Jesus is revealed in us. And we must come to an end, because there was nothing good in us. By coming to an end, I refer to the old sinner; our new man, created in Christ, operates by the life of Christ. We must trust Him.
