Pekahiah King of Israel

Pekahiah son of Menahem succeeded his father as king, reigning two years, continuing in the same evil religious traditions.

Pekah, a military captain of his, with a select group of men, “conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria, in the palace of the king’s house” (2 Kings 15:25).

This is all we know of Pekahiah. He never figured out that the sins of Jeroboam were his downfall and the demise of all Israel.
