Thou Art All Fair, My Love (Song of Solomon 4:7)

Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee. (Song of Solomon 4:7)

Solomon says this to his wife in this love song with much imagery. How much more does the Lord Jesus Christ say this to the church He redeemed? “That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish” (Ephesians 5:27). The godly and loving marriage ultimately reflects the Lord and His church.
