Lo, Here Is Christ; Or, Lo, He Is There (Mark 13:21-22)

There will be a time that false Christs will arise and perform convincing miracles.

And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. (Mark 13:21-22)

We know that one such man will even rise from the dead, or at least appear to do so. Things will be so convincing, even Christians will be tempted to believe it. Know that it is all fake. “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:27). Jesus’ death and resurrection is settled history. Anyone who will try to replicate what He did or who He is would be an impostor.

Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more (Romans 6:9)
