For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. (1 Thessalonians 4:7)

Salvation is not merely deliverance from wrath alone. We are also called out of impurity and into His holiness. We are set apart from the world to the purpose of God.

It should cause us discomfort to see those who name the name of Christ who proudly display their shameful uncleanness. It should also cause us discomfort to see uncleanness in our own hidden, secret thoughts.

The change from uncleanness to holiness starts with a work of God placing us in Christ. Then we must believe those truths from the heart, withholding nothing from our minds. Let His Spirit shine as a candle throughout our minds to find and expose secret sins within.
