And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s. (1 Corinthians 3:23)

Being in Christ, I have been purchased with the blood of Christ. I have been redeemed from despair, but with that comes a new Master, the Lord. In this way, we no longer really get to choose what we do. We are here for His purpose.

What vocation, who we marry, our daily chores and activities should all be decisions based on what God wants.

That said, we have everything at our disposal to do His will. He has given us all things: “Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21-22).
