The Works of the Flesh Are Manifest (Galatians 5:19)

“The works of the flesh are manifest...” How interesting it is that those who try to keep the law are those guilty of breaking it. Also envyings and bitings and devourings exist, contrary to the “royal law.” How can we respond? We must be “led of the Spirit.” Rely on Him and follow His prompting. When I say “I must do this,” I have created a law to follow. No, but rather, Lord, I am in You to die and live with You. I present myself to your service. Then the Spirit will lead accordingly. He is the boss, but we must yield and submit to Him as Lord. But when? Even now, never to stop.
