Until He Come Whose Right It Is (Ezekiel 21:25-27)
2022-07-22
The captivity had already begun during Ezekiel’s ministry. Jerusalem’s complete fall would come, and the last of the royalty and kings would be deposed and either slain or exiled.
And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high. I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him. (Ezekiel 21:25-27)
There will be one who will come, who will rightfully claim the throne in Jerusalem after these wicked kings: the Lord Jesus Christ. This should sound familiar:
The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. (Genesis 49:10)
The Son of God will come and literally reign from Jerusalem. Lord haste that glorious day.
