Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. (Isaiah 12:3)

This is a part of the praise God’s people will sing when He sets up His kingdom. This gives us a glimpse of the well of living water that the Lord Jesus does offer us. “The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?” (John 4:11). And again, fulfilled in the true marriage of the Lamb, “A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon” (Song of Solomon 4:15). We have the Spirit now, and how much more His fullness when His kingdom is fully come. “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” (John 7:38).
