Tree of Life, Prince of Life

...now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever... (Genesis 3:22)
...the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead... (Acts 3:15).
The Prince did what the tree could never do. Access to the tree of life was completely dependent upon the commandment. The Prince of Life gave eternal life, never to die again. He redeemed us from the broken commandment.
If one stops eating of the tree of life, his life will end. However, one sip of the Prince of Life’s water will spring up to eternal life:
Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. (John 4:13-14)
Again, the Prince of Life, also known as the Bread of Life, gave Himself that we would never die:
I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. (John 6:35)
Jesus died that we might live. Jesus lives that we might live eternally and abundantly.
