Fear is the initial response when you realize that Jesus has risen from the dead. The implications must change your life if it is true. Because everything just changed. Whatever you believed before was false, and the risen Christ is truth. It demands a response. People must be told, but these women didn’t immediately at first; processing the shock had to come first for them. However, their lives just had changed forever, because if Jesus Christ is risen, He is more than a prophet. He is Lord of all.
