And when the LORD saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb: but Rachel was barren. (Genesis 29:31)

Jacob had two sisters for wives, and Rachel was loved more than Leah. The Lord sees those who are unloved, and He loves them. Here is a great thing: if you feel unloved, seek the Lord. When you feel lonely, call on His name. The Bible is replete with examples of the unlovable being loved by the Lord. It was always the outcast that the Lord sought. It was the sinner, not the “righteous,” that the Lord brought to Himself.
