Take heed to the ministry (Colossians 4:17)

And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it. (Colossians 4:17)

Archippus, a man who was in Philemon’s house church (Philemon 1:2), was encouraged by Paul the apostle to fulfill whatever ministry he was given by the Lord. He was Paul’s “fellowsoldier.” Is this written for him alone? We all have specific good works assigned to us that we must do (Ephesians 2:10). We must find out what the Lord wants us to do and then do it.
