Peace, Be Still (Mark 4:39)

And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. (Mark 4:39)

Jesus calms the storms. Every time a storm comes, whether it be physical or metaphorical, call on the Lord. Why flutter through it in unbelief, only after the fact to hear, “Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?” (Mark 4:40). He repeatedly proves Himself faithful when we are faithless. How much better we would do if we would trust Him the first time. This is how our faith builds, He proves Himself again and again, and perhaps maybe one day we will get it.
