The Passover Lamb’s Deliverance

The application of the Lamb’s blood to the doorposts delivered the people from the destroyer’s death penalty. The body of the Lamb gave sustenance to those safely inside their dwellings. The Lord Himself delivered us from the death penalty of our sin; being partakers and members of His body gives us life. In Christ, there is both forgiveness of sins and deliverance from sin.
