My God Shall Supply All Your Need (Philippians 4:19)

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)

The Lord supplies everything that we lack. Do not think of this in some superficial way. There are plenty of prosperity preachers that will tell you that this means carnal wealth that will soon pass away. Rather, the Lord supplies us with (true) necessities and equips us for His service on earth. If there are trials appointed for us, He will carry us through them in His fashion and in His time. Day by day and moment by moment we rely on Him only in faith to supply that true necessity, according to His almighty power. This calls for thanksgiving.
