Love and Peace (Ephesians 3:19; Philippians 4:7)

The things of God are beyond our ability to understand them. Consider these:

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. (Ephesians 3:19)

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)

How can we “know” that which “passeth knowledge”? The love of Christ and the peace of God can only be apprehended by faith, not by our fleshly faculties. “For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16). Even now, we know not perfectly, but a day is coming when we will: “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known” (1 Corinthians 13:12)
