The Likeness of His Resurrection

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection (Romans 6:5)

Because He lives, so shall we! When we believe that Jesus died for our sins and rose again from the dead, we have that future hope. God, “according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1 Peter 1:3). Why neglect so great a salvation? If you only have hope in this life, what misery that is. But if you have Christ, you have life, abundantly and eternally.
