In Earth, as It is in Heaven

It was a glorious thing what happened in the Lord Jesus. His blood cleansed us from the penalty of all sin. We are crucified with Christ, and risen as well, in a spiritual sense. Our life was hidden with Christ in the heavenlies. Yet, it does not stop there. How is this power over sin accessed? Through faith. “Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). Concerning the tabernacle, we read, “See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount” (Hebrews 8:5). That power in heaven is available here by faith. Eternal life now, not just in the future.
