My Ways Which Be in Christ (1 Corinthians 4:17)

Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church. (1 Corinthians 4:16-17)
Why understand all that we have and are in Christ Jesus? One reason is so that we then can be models for others. Because of carnality in the Corinth church, the apostle Paul ensured to walk in the Spirit among them, and he also sent his assistant Timothy to them to continue to teach them by example. We who have children must be that example to them. There are those out there who have no access to the Gospel, and we need to preach as well as be the Gospel to them. The witness is from Christ in heaven by His Holy Spirit. Recall that in us (without Christ) there is no good thing. We need His witness to be visible in us for other people’s sake.
