Communion of the Holy Spirit

2024-06-30

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. (2 Corinthians 13:14)

We are partakers of His Holy Spirit. He is within us, and we are deeply connected with Him. It implies fellowship and partnership. “If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind” (Philippians 2:1-2). There is love and consolation and like-mindedness and tender mercies. He connects us with other believers.

He reveals to us the things of God and of Jesus Christ. “...even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God” (1 Corinthians 2:11). And, “...But we have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16).

We know the love of God because of Him. “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us” (Romans 5:5).

A bond never broken, I want to know Him as He knows me.
