He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (1 John 5:12)

Is there any distinction between true life and Jesus? No, rather, Jesus is the resurrection and the life. Or is there a distinction between Jesus and wisdom or Jesus and righteousness, or any such thing of virtue? No, rather, when we ask for wisdom and righteousness and life, we are asking for more of the Son.
