The Great Commandment in the Law

Master, which is the great commandment in the law? (37) Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. (38) This is the first and great commandment. (Matthew 22:36-38)

Since this is the greatest commandment, we can know for sure how much we miss the mark. Who has loved God with everything they have their entire lives? It has never been done except by Jesus Himself. This is truly a yardstick to indicate our true need for the Savior.
