Gospel Minute 11: Epilogue

If you trust in Jesus Christ as your savior and have eternal life, you want to be sure you follow Him. These are some things that you need in your life.
- Find a Bible-believing church and be baptized. Continually attend church in person and gather with other believers.
- Read the Bible every day. The Gospel of John is a good place to start at first, but you want to regularly read through the whole Bible at least annually.
- Pray and rely on God for everything, even the small things.
- Continually turn from sin. When you sin, confess it to Him.
- Tell others how Jesus died for your sins and rose from the dead. He died for the sins of the whole world.

While every true Christian is saved from the wrath of God, if you do not follow Him in this life, He disciplines those that are His. The Christian life is not an easy life; He will work in us to make us more like Jesus. “...he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6). He will always be with us.
Jesus will return in the future. This is the greatest thing to look forward to. When we die, we go to Him, but if we are still here at His coming, He will come for His own before He pours out His wrath on the world. Keep looking up! “And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure” (1 John 3:3).
