The Lord GOD, and His Spirit, Hath Sent Me (Isaiah 48:16)

We often think of the Son sending the Spirit when He was enthroned on high. How about the Father and the Spirit sending the Son into the world?

Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me. (Isaiah 48:16)

While the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are distinct, together they are one God. This is one of the clearer statements of the Trinity in the Old Testament.
