God Is With Us

Recently, we had some car repairs done. Unfortunately, once it was repaired, our mechanic had not made a proper connection somewhere in our engine, so on our way home from church, dashboard lights started popping on one by one. Anything electric was dying in the car, from the headlights to the windshield wipers, and power steering was failing. This all started to happen a fraction of a mile before a gas station.
We pulled into the gas station lot, and shut the car off. We called someone to help us get home with the kids, as the attendant graciously allowed us to use his cell phone and leave the car there overnight.
God provided all of this, and moreover, this was the last gas station before a 20 mile stretch of deserted country road after dark. God in his grace allowed us to get to this gas station before we were left in the middle of nowhere.
Our mechanic was also very helpful the next day in that he and his assistant drove all the way out to where the car was, fixed it on the spot, and drove it back to our house.
God does not leave us in the middle of nowhere; he is always there in times of uncertainty. Thank you, God for your provision.
