“And be found in him...” We are in Him by the Father, but we must live fully from His ground, in Him. Abandoning everything outside of Christ is part of this, as the apostle wrote in this section. He presses on toward Jesus in heaven, having not yet apprehended, and continues to his death. The power of His resurrection comes with the fellowship of His sufferings. These work together to make us more like Christ.
