“For ye are dead...” (Colossians 3:3). How do we abandon our ambitions in favor of the Lord’s will? It is not by our own efforts. You already have been crucified with Jesus and to the world. Appropriate the truth of the historical fact of the crucifixion of Christ for our sins, and our crucifixion with Him. You are not what you were before. Faith depends on those facts.
