Find, Save, Love Your Life

He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. (Matthew 10:39)

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. (Mark 8:35)

He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. (John 12:25)

We will do anything to preserve, find, nurture, save, love, and protect the life of the flesh. The flesh includes the whole sphere that represents us. Our passions, interests, tastes, what we like to do, what we want. It is the foods we like and the hobbies we spend our time on. It is our ambitions. We will protect this life to the death. But what we really need is death, the flesh to be crucified with Christ. Now, praise God, the flesh is crucified with Him. But now we must accept it is a fact and a reality daily.

It is the life of Jesus Christ we need. And when we lose our lives and hate our lives we will find, save, preserve, and keep this new life in Christ.
