Christian Extremist

To think like a Christian is to think in extremes. Since God is big, He must be in your plans.

For instance, in the Old Testament, the Sabbath was one day in a week. It is different now. “For we which have believed do enter into rest” (Hebrews 4:3). We keep the Sabbath day every day. There is no day that is not hallowed for the Lord. There is no rest from this Rest! Every day is His.

When we think of extremists, we think of crazy, hateful people that destroy. Not so with the Christian. The Christian extremist is going to love his enemies because God loved His enemies. He will find life out of death. He will decrease so that the Lord will increase.

It is telling the truth because you care about people, not because you want to lift yourself up or put them down. One major thing you learn from the prophets is that they told the truth because God had compassion on the people. These prophets were hated for it.

Does this sound like being wimpy? Does it sound easy? Try it and see.

These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also; Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, one Jesus. (Acts 17:6-7)
