But Unto Him
2024-09-17
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. (2 Corinthians 5:15)
A step forward seems to be followed by a thousand backward. I can start the day resting in Jesus, but by the end of the day—
But let His death keep working in us every day. Every day a little less me, a little more Him. Until I live for Him only.
For how detestable is this life of mine? Everything I try on my own is an awful failure. How shameful whenever I attempt to show myself as worthy of anything. He promised to work in us until He comes. Even so, Amen. I hate my own life, and I want Him to live in me.
