Better Than a Thousand (Psalm 84:10)

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. (Psalm 84:10)

The lowest position in the Lord’s house is superior to the highest position this world can offer. If you think that you are least esteemed in the world yet know the Lord, you fare far better than they. It is all about perspective. Why do we want the lofty positions the world has to offer? What legacy do we want to leave? Leave the humble legacy of reflecting the glory of the Lord in your earthen vessel. Let not a single soul remember your name, but the impact of the Spirit in a humble person will leave an everlasting impact.
