Become as Little Children (Matthew 18:3)

2022-03-01

Small children are dependent on their parents for everything: food, shelter, and any other need in their lives. That is what the Lord requires of all of us. It is not merely for salvation. It is true that we must place our trust alone in the finished work of Christ to be saved. However, that becomes a pattern of life. We trust in our Father for the day-to-day, minute-by-minute tasks in life. Like the child who prays for the smallest of things, there is no task too small that we do not commit it to the hands of our Father.

And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 18:3)
