Antisemitism (Jeremiah 50:7)

All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against the LORD, the habitation of justice, even the LORD, the hope of their fathers. (Jeremiah 50:7)

Because the Jewish people have largely rejected Christ, people throughout the ages thought that gave them license to persecute them with cruelty. This is evil. What does the Word say in response to the Babylonians in the above verse? “And Chaldea shall be a spoil: all that spoil her shall be satisfied, saith the LORD. Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced, O ye destroyers of mine heritage, because ye are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls” (Jeremiah 50:10-11).

To the Christian, He says, “Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee” (Romans 11:18).

Love all people, no matter who they may be. Do no harm to anyone, for that is how the Lord was when He was here.
