All Live unto Him (Luke 20:37-38)

Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him. (Luke 20:37-38)

God is the God of life. In this passage, we see that every one of His people will be raised to be with Him.

By how the word is used in the Bible, death is separation. The soul is separated from the body. The sinner is separated from God, not by proximity, but rather relationship. However, the eternal God knows the beginning from the ending. He sees all as alive because He has an eternal perspective. If you belong to Christ, you will always be alive to Him. And those who are with Him now, you will see them again. “Wherefore comfort one another with these words” (1 Thessalonians 4:18).
