Aeneas (Acts 9:32-35)

Aeneas was in bed sick for eight years. He was likely well known in Lydda for being sick and bedridden. There were already some Christians there. “And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately” (Acts 9:34). Without delay, Aeneas was healed. The Bible clearly says that Jesus healed him.

This blessing was not for Aeneas alone. The whole area of Lydda and Saron heard of the miracle. “And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord” (Acts 9:35). Imagine an entire area turning to the Lord. Between the Christians already residing there and this miracle from the Lord, an entire area was changed. What we can do is capitalize on every blessing of the Lord and use it to turn others to Jesus Christ.
