Able to Keep You from Falling (Jude 1:24)

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy (Jude 1:24)

This post writes itself, doesn’t it? In a world where there is so much fear, there is One who can keep you from falling. This is a soteriological statement for sure; this surely enforces unconditional eternal security for the authentic born-again believer. However, it gives us very practical comfort where there is stability in nothing else.

Again, God our Savior can present us faultless to Himself. Though we will come short of perfection this side of eternity, He will perfect us in that glorious Day when He comes for us.

That will be the Day of exceeding joy.
