Abide in Me, and I in You (John 15:4)

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. (John 15:4)

The Father put me in Christ. How then do I abide, remain, or dwell in Him? This is done by faith. To realize the Lord working in me, I must continually trust Him for the results. His life is my life; I cannot bear fruit of myself.

This is important. I can do nothing without the Lord. This is why I must yield to Him continually, knowing Christ as my life.

I cannot count on myself for the smallest task; I must rely on the Lord for everything. For everything I trust myself with, it ends in failure. It is time to rest in Him.
